Ella Boggus joined Curtis Legal Group in 2024. Ella decided to pursue her legal career as a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney because she is passionate about helping those who have suffered devastating injuries, through no fault of their own. While Ella enjoys representing clients who have suffered injuries through various sets of circumstances, Ella especially enjoys handling cases involving premises liability, motor vehicle collisions, and product liability.
Prior to joining Curtis Legal Group, Ella obtained her Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento, with a concentration in Business Finance and an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from American River College. While at CSU Sacramento, she was a member of the pre-law fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta.
Ella went on to earn her law degree in 2021 from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. During her time at McGeorge, Ella volunteered her time at various legal clinics to assist pro se plaintiffs in filing civil actions and immigrants applying for citizenship. Upon graduating, Ella was awarded the Diverse Graduate Bar Support Stipend by the McGeorge Awards Committee. Ella was also nominated by her peers for the Graduating Senior Award. After graduating from law school, Ella continued to work as a law clerk for civil litigation firms in the greater Sacramento region until passing the California Bar Exam in 2024.
In addition to Ella’s career and educational achievements, she takes pride in the fact that she graduated from law school and passed the bar as a single mother of two children. For this accomplishment Ella was awarded a Sacramento Area Success Stipend (S.A.S.S.) on behalf of Sacramento’s Single Mom Strong and the Sacramento Women’s Expo.
In her free time, Ella enjoys spending time with her two children, traveling, paddle-boarding, singing, and painting.
