Salvation Army’s 33rd Annual Kettle Drive Kickoff

Curtis Legal Group was proud to support the Salvation Army’s 33rd Annual Kettle Drive Kickoff! November 14th, 2025 marked the start of a season of giving, and we were honored to stand alongside an organization that provides hope, meals, and essential services to families in our community. With music, community spirit, and the iconic red kettles, the Red Kettle tradition reminds us that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact when we come together. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help kick off this important campaign and encourage everyone to give what they can this holiday season. Together, we can make Christmas brighter for those who need it most.

Legal Professionals, Incorporated’s Second Quarterly Educational Conference

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, Attorney Andrew Mendlin gave a continuing education lecture in which both attorneys and paralegals attended. The conference was hosted by Legal Professionals, Inc., where Andrew provided a lecture covering the management of State Bar Client Trust Accounts.

Annual Backpack Drive

We had a great time Thursday at Walter White Elementary School in Ceres and Friday at Westport Elementary School in Modesto with our Annual Backpack Drive! Our team handed out backpacks filled with school supplies, helping local students start the academic year strong. It’s one of our favorite ways to give back and connect with the families in our community.

2025 Summer Picnic: Modesto Nuts Professional Baseball Club & Sacramento River Cats

Another successful summer picnic in the books! Our Curtis Legal Group team had a great time at both the Modesto Nuts Professional Baseball Club and Sacramento River Cats games. It was a fun way to step out of the office, enjoy some baseball, and spend time together. We’re grateful to have such a great team—hardworking, supportive, and always up for a good time.

Curtis Legal Group is proud to recognize Attorney Maria Jaime for speaking at the SHE Became International Women’s Month Mixer Fundraiser. Her message focused on the importance of women supporting one another in both career and family life – something she has consistently demonstrated both personally and professionally.

From her practice as a personal injury attorney to her ongoing involvement in numerous community organizations, Maria’s approach reflects a steady commitment to uplifting and supporting those often left without a voice.

Latino Business Association

At Curtis Legal Group, our commitment to the community goes beyond the work we do for clients.

We’re proud to have Attorneys Maria Jaime and Eric Gutierrez serving on the board of the Latino Business Association a Non-Profit Foundation in Modesto. Their work through the foundation supports initiatives like community events and scholarships – efforts that extend their advocacy beyond the courtroom and into the community. They recently joined fellow board members to advance one of the organization’s key initiatives of funding its scholarship program.

Vanguard Middle School

Attorney Maria Jaime was proud to speak at Vanguard Middle School as students and parents were recognized for an important educational milestone.

The ceremony celebrated more than 30 Spanish-speaking students who successfully demonstrated English language proficiency and will now transition into traditional English-language classes. Maria was grateful for the opportunity to recognize the students’ hard work, the encouragement of their families, and the educators who helped guide them along the way.
